URBAN INNO at Workshop Karlsruhe – unterwegs in Richtung Zukunft
On 25.10.2018, the 5th Workshop ‘Umwelt-Energie-Stadt’ (Environment-Energy-City) is organized by the City of Karlsruhe in cooperation with 3 centres of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology ‘Klima und Umwelt’ (Climate and Environment), ‘Energie’ (Energy) and ‘Mobilitätssysteme’ (Mobility Systems). The focus is on a sustainable information exchange and in-depth discussions between necessary stakeholders. Thematic issues concerning the mobility of the future, climate change, energy supply, as well as environmental science, climate protection and adaptation towards climate change will be addressed.
The key goal is to enable new cooperation and present ongoing projects. For that, short impulse lectures are functioning as a starting point, where interesting ideas or planned projects are presented. A follow-up networking allows then for further exchange. After that, best practice projects are presented to give valuable insights for future cooperation. The workshop is an ideal venue bringing together stakeholder from politics, science and economy.
URBAN INNO is contributing to this exchange by presenting the Karlsruhe Pilot eDrais2017. EIFER (the European Institute for Energy Research) as scientific partner of CyberForum e.V. in the URBAN INNO project will take lead in the presentation ‘URBAN INNO Pilot eDrais: Partizipation in der lokalen Infrastrukturplanung’ and inform about the main results of the Pilot project.
