The establishment of the group, which has been an association since November 2017, was based on the joint work of Ádám Bihari, Medvey Boldizsár, Gergő Radev during their university years. Objectives: To strengthen the adobe-based building culture, to protect the built heritage on the basis of professional and community participation.

WHY? Quarter of the residential building stock in Hungary is made of adobe. Most of the techniques required for their maintenance, as well as other traditional construction methods have already been forgotten or lost.

HOW? The basis of their way of work is addressing the local community and making the local building culture available through its re-discovery and raising people’s awareness of it.

WHAT? As a reaction to our time and environment they wish to establish a training system for professional and civil audiences. The foundations of this system are natural materials, traditional building techniques, manual labour and human relationships. Alongside this, they also strive to continuously research and disseminate this toolkit and repertory of materials.

WHO THEY WE? An informal group of four, young architects. Designers with an open mind-set, who work not only at their desks, but on the field as well. Their theoretical and practical experience made people recognize the need for diversity and balance in all respects of their lives.
