Through awareness raising, strategic work and targeted pilot actions, InduCCI increases capacities of both public and private sectors.
InduCCI opens up public administrations towards the specific needs of CCI.
The general public benefits from additional offers in cultural life and higher societal adaptability to transformation.
CCI gain from promotional efforts and an improved environment. Traditional industries link up with CCI and benefit from innovative and creative input.
Our project partner, SACCI, has gathered all info in a European policy analysis. It gives an overview of all actors focussing on cultural and creative industries and on the innovative potential of the sector in general!

What motivates creatives to settle in industrial regions? How does a training help administrations understand CCI? What strategic ingredients is a policy maker looking for?
Best practices have been collected in each region, existing policies and trainings on CCI charted, and focus groups organized. An interesting mix of brainstorm sessions, presentations and field visits will support the peering process. Let's get inspired to further conceptualize and substantiate our pilot actions!
We are in the year 2022, what does your region look like and which transformations have taken place since the InduCCI project?
In all InduCCI regions stakeholders participated in brainstorm sessions and think tanks, jointly describing a future in which CCIs have settled down in industrial regions in close cooperations with companies and the community!
CHALLENGES FOR CCI
the inducci project
Industry is experiencing the arrival of a transformation cycle with profound effects on production modes, but also for working and social environment. CCI can be a core driving force on both levels of transition. But traditional regions and CCI have rarely discovered each other's potential.
as a Policy Incubator
WORK PACKAGE 1
CCI policies (strategies, support offers,...) are a challenging subject due to the novelty of the branch itself, and to the non-conform characteristics of CCI. InduCCI will need to develop new, or improve existing, policies with the support and input of a stakeholder network.
as an economic player
WORK Package 2
Industrial regions are not seen as thriving and attractive places for CCI. Locating companies there would diversify the economic structure while adding an extra dimension of innovation. InduCCI will promote CCI as an external partner for innovation within industry.
as a social innovator
Work Package 3
Over time, long-standing industrial regions have developed a distinct culture containing both assets and obstacles for the upcoming industrial transformation. InduCCI focusses on CCI in helping people to become more open to innovation, change and entrepreneurhsip.
