Air quality management
One of the objectives of the AIR TRITIA project is to create tools for efficient and transparent air quality management in accordance with evidence-based decision support. These are the Air quality management system and Prediction Warning System for decision makers and citizens of TRITIA region. The tools will help public authorities in the field of air quality management.
The VSB expert team started to work on Tools for Air Quality Management. The analysis of the functional and data requirements of the AQMS (Air Quality Management System) was performed. Based on these requirements, a suitable data model was designed and implemented in the PostgreSQL / Postgis spatial database. Then a suitable SW architecture (Model-view-controller) was chosen to allow the proper communication of the user interface, the control logic and the data model. The AQMS itself is divided into a client part for a regular user and part of the administration for system reporting (data import, project management and management of individual layers). The client part is in the development stage; the administrative part is ready - at the testing stage.

|Predictive warning system Prototype||VSB arranged the input data for the prediction algorithm for Predictive warning system. It comprised the meteorological data and data from the Automatic Air Quality Monitoring which were hand over to IMGW - The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management.|
