“Fa’ la cosa giusta” was launched in 2004, initiated by the esteemed “Terre di mezzo” publishing house. With a vision to promote ‘good practices’ of consumption and production across the country, the event aims to highlight the intrinsic value of local attributes within institutional, associative, and entrepreneurial networks.

This year, MAURICE project is proud to contribute to the Biodiversity and Climate Change segment of the event’s Cultural Program. Join us as we delve into the pivotal role of groundwater in Lombardy and its intertwining connection with the irrigation network.

Our presentation features distinguished speakers from Politecnico di Milano, EST Ticino Villoresi, and the University of Milan. Together, we will illuminate the significance of groundwater in our daily lives and the environmental landscape of Lombardy. Discover the far-reaching impacts of climate change on our water resources and the critical interaction between surface water and groundwater.

Explore the historical context and environmental significance of the irrigation network of Consortium EST Ticino Villoresiā€”a unique case in Europe. Witness how the fusion of this network with Lombardy’s aquifers holds the potential to bolster our resilience against the escalating impacts of climate change.

Join us and see you at the event!
