|Aim||Entrepreneurship is a powerful driver of economic growth and job creation: it creates new companies and jobs, opens up new markets, and nurtures new skills and capabilities.
The project aims to implement and support an enabling environment r all forms of entrepreneurship, with a special focus on Social Entrepreneurship, where also business support services reach all potential entrepreneurs, especially those from more vulnerable groups, with the aim to make the Central EU area stronger and more cohesive.
Within the Central EU, people with a migrant background represent an important pool of potential entrepreneurs, but can face, as other more vulnerable groups, specific legal, cultural and linguistic obstacles. These issues need to be addressed in full to give support equitable to that received by all other entrepreneurial groups.
The main objective is to promote immigrants’ entrepreneurship as a tool to implement concrete Social Cohesion environments:
1. Enhance the Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial potential of People with a migrant background
2. Promote mutual learning and exchange between local and migrant background entrepreneurs (with a special focus on female entrepreneurship)
3. Encouraging Social Cohesion in Cities
|Results||The main result of the project is to create Social Cohesion enabling environments where (Social) Entrepreneurship education prepares people (immigrants and local people) to be responsible and enterprising individuals. Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Education helps people develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to achieve the goals and share social and business needs of the city.|

|Follow up of||The partnership is based on the one that is implementing INNO-WISEs project (http://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/INNO-WISEs.html); the present project aims at developing the issue of social enterprises, the main target of INNO-WISEs, enlarging the prospective to immigrants’ entrepreneurship. The objective is to strengthen the social cohesion in the Central Europe cities where there is a great potential for new economic activities driven by new comers.|
