Local demonstrator centers for development of Key-Enabling-Technologies skills
|Priority||Innovation and knowledge development|
|Aim||The proposal intends help strengthening potentials of technology-oriented peripheral or internal areas that are destinations of foreign investments and capital flows notably through better linking actors of innovation systems.
The scope is to enhance the transfer of research and development (R&D) results and the set-up of cooperative demonstrator centres among research, companies and education.
It will also address regional disparities in knowledge and education such as brain drain, and strengthen capacities and competences for entrepreneurship and social innovation.
|Results||To develop local demonstrator centers in less industrialized central-Europe geographic areas (peripheral and/or internal ones) where there is the potential of (high) technology-oriented companies who work in the following domains:
- Production/processing of composite materials for high-tech industries
- Additive manufacturing
- Virtualization and simulators at service of automation
The creation of the demonstrator centers will be guided through in each phase of their set-up and steady growth.
The demonstrator centers will meet the local SMEs needs of workers’ technological skills improvement and entrepreneurial mindset increase.
Actors from research, business and education domains will cooperate together in the centers to stimulate mutual economic and social growth.

|Partners requested||We are looking for RELIABLE partners who already have sound experience in ETC Programme AND:
• are located in Central Europe peripheral/less developed areas with (potentially) innovative SMEs in the fields: Production/processing of composite materials for high-tech industries, Additive manufacturing, Automation, Virtualization and simulators at service of automation, etc
• have the ability to reach and involve/integrate the following main of actors at proposal stage: research, SMEs, education
• are devoted to economic and social development of territories
