Our partners Marina Milinović and Marijana Smoljan, Croatian Celiac Society representatives from Rrijeka, will present celiac disease and the results of Focus IN CD project. General public will be informed about various health problems and preventive programs, to raise awareness and improve their knowledge. Main topics: »1000 faces of celiac disease«, Focus on celiac disease and Celiac disease and the role gastroentestinal tract«.
They will prepare a »Gluten free bread baking« workshop.

The TEN-T Days offer an opportunity for open discussion on how to contribute to smart, sustainable and safe mobility, relying on the trans-European transport network and investments in transport connectivity. It will also host an idea accelerator and futuristic lab, to allow young European entrepreneurs and companies to showcase innovative mobility solutions. There will be a high-level Interinstitutional meeting to discuss further synergies between transport, energy and digital connectivity, and the investment support with highest EU value-added in the post-2020 framework, leading to a Ljubljana declaration by all relevant stakeholders on key principles for investment in mobility.

SAVE THE DATE - The Arbeitswelt Steyr Museum will launch its new exhibition accessible for all on 3rd May 2018!
In line with the COME-IN! Guidelines the museums involved in the project have been introducing a set of interventions to make their museums accessible.
The Arbeitswelt Museum, set between the picturesque banks of the Steyr river in Austria, is the second of the six museum involved in the project to have completed the works considered necessary to become a museum accessible to all.
The interventions consisted in infrastructural works (accessible parking lot, lockers, wardrobe), improvement of communication means (revision of signals, description adapted to visually and hearing impaired users), and development of orientation maps containing pictograms. Moreover, the Museum will provide a tactile model of the exhibition area, magnifying glasses, and an accessible website to facilitate the visit for all. Last but not least, the Museum foresees accessible guided tours and educational programs open for all and all free of charge.
The exhibition will be launched on May 3rd, 2018 at 14.00 p.m. with an accessible Presentation and will be on display until December 2020. For the first two weeks, the exhibition and guided visits will be free of charge. Link to the invitation available here.
International celiac disease day will be organized in Maribor on May 5th 2018 in organization of Focus IN CD project, Slovenian celiac society, University medical center Maribor, e-Zavod and ZAMS (Zavod Antona Martina Slomška).
Celiac disease patients will have the opportunity to get comprehensive information at one place in order to improve their knowledge to better cope with the burden of this chronic disease which requires a strict lifelong gluten free diet.
On the agenda are lectures and workshops. After some short introduction speeches, the celiac disease awareness among patients and HCPs will be presented by Jernej Dolinšek, Aja Mijatov will point out the challenges of gluten free diet and will present dietary guidelines for celiac disease. Jana Ačko and Breda Kojc will give an overview of testing the gluten content of food and licensing system to use the Crossed Grain trademark (trademark license), which gives producers and retailers the right to use the Crossed Grain trademark on their gluten free products in over 30 European countries.
Two gluten free workshops will be organized. The firs one will be mentored by Natalija Strnad, who will prepare gluten free bread, the second one will be led by Maja Piskernik. She will prepare the whole healthy gluten free lunch. Around 30 celiac disease patients will gain practical new knowledge.
Fresh gluten free burgers will be offered to participants, which is a quite big challenge for the organizers.
All patients are kindly invited to join us.
ESPGHAN 51st Annual Meeting will be held in Geneva from 9th -12th May 2018.
The 51st ESPGHAN Annual Meeting will be an extraordinary conference as we will be celebrating the 50 years anniversary of ESPGHAN!
Every year the ESPGHAN meeting attracts the key opinion leaders in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition from across Europe and all five continents, turning it into the largest conference of its kind worldwide. The previous 50th congress held in Prague was attended by 4.700 delegates from 96 countries. The meeting offered more than 830 abstract presenters a stage to publish their latest research results. Focus IN CD representatives will present project results. Two abstracts were accepted, Focus IN CD partners will be active in different ESPGHAN groups having lectures, presentations, etc.
Thus, the congress offers a great platform to meet colleagues in our field from around the world to exchange new ideas and discuss the latest developments in these fields.

EU Green Week 2018 will explore ways in which the EU is helping cities to become better places to live and work. Showcasing policy developments on air quality, noise, nature and biodiversity, waste and water management, it will promote participatory approaches to urban development, networking schemes, and tools for sharing best practices, engaging local authorities and citizens, and encouraging them to share their vision of a sustainable future.
The week will officially open on 21/5 in Utrecht (The Netherlands) and will close on 25/5 in Madrid (Spain). The high level EU Green Cities Summit will take place in Brussels, 22-24/5. Registration for participants for the high level EU Green Cities Summit in Brussels will be open from the 3rd April.

European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is a month-long series of activities to build a secure energy future for Europe. It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power.
This year's edition is dedicated to the clean energy transition. Come and visit us and our projects at the stand. Together, we can spread awareness of how to use energy more sustainably, build a low-carbon economy based on renewables and have a strong, united approach to sustainable energy use.

All project partners will have an opportunity to present their work in the previous six months. Also, the achievements of ongoing pilot projects will be presented and discussed in details. On the second day eminent experts in celiac disease will share the latest findings wit the audience. Healt care professionals and patients from all over Croatia will be invited.

Our 2nd Thematic Conference will take place on 26 June 2018 in Erfurt, Germany, organised by the Transport and Spatial Planning Institute of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt. Entitled “The inclusive museum - State of the art and perspectives”, the event will bring together experts, practitioners and good examples of accessible museums and exhibitions from regional to internatiol level in order to present and discuss current and future progress to address the challenge of inclusion and accessibility in museums.
The Conference is addressed to museums, touristic and further service providers in the cultural sector, disabled associations, local and regional public authorities, education and training institutions and final users. It will be held in English, and simultaneous translation to German is offered (Possibility to request also German sign language translation). The event will be hosted by the Monastery of St. Augustine, Erfurt. Further information concerning the program, venue and registration can be found in the leaflet here.

The second edition of additive manufacturing user’s seminar – AMM 2018, will take place on 28-29 June 2018 in Wroclaw. AMM 2018 will be held on site of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
The main goal of Additive Manufacturing Meeting is to create a platform for sharing the knowledge and experience about development and implementation of additive manufacturing technologies. Particular emphasis will be placed on CAx modeling, manufacturing, new materials, process development and their applications.

The Second International Conference on Intelligent Systems in Production Engineering and Maintenance ISPEM 2018 will be held in Wrocław (Poland) between 17 – 18 September 2018. The conference aim is to give an opportunity for researchers, experts, practitioners and other interested participants to exchange experiences in intelligent systems and tools applications in production and maintenance. New solutions for innovative plants, research results and case studies considering advances in maintenance and production from the Industry 4.0 point of view will be presented and discussed, paying special attention to application of intelligent systems, methods and tools in production, maintenance, logistic, quality management, information systems, product development, ect.
