The Kick-off Event of “Made in Danube” took place in Stuttgart, Germany, on March 22nd 2017.  Top-class representatives from public authorities, research, industry and clusters came together to discuss the importance of Bio-Economy in Europe, particularly in the Danube region. Some 90 guests had the opportunity to discuss current hot topics like “Smart and innovative precision farming”, “biofuel” and “wood” in three parallel sessions and to elaborate jointly next steps towards a bio-based economic future of the Danube region.

During her keynote speech, Tamara Högler, (CyberForum e.V.), presented FORESDA and the importance of establishing synergies towards other projects - URBAN INNO and PERMIDES. Main outcome of this presentation were several contacts to potential additional FORESDA stakeholders and a brainstorming session focusing on future joint projects with the representatives of the projects “Made in Danube” and “Smart Factory Hub”.
